My dad was also my best friend
my dad was one in a million also a great granddad to my three children

sadly my children didnt get very long with their granddad but the time they did have was wonderful as he was a great granddad
one of the sweetest kindest gentlest man there ever was my dad had a great sense of humour he was so funny even his stories about when he was a young boy was so much fun to listen to
dad sadly you never got to meet my husband colin we got married on the 18 june 2004 he a wonderful guy you would have like him and sadly you never got to meet my grandson your great grandchild gemma had a gorgeous wee boy on her and kevin birthday last year he has his great granddad goreous blue eyes you would love him too
dad we all miss and love you so much there never a day goes by i dont think of you your forever in my heart
Letting go of you
I know I have to let you go.
How I will I do not know.
I know that it's your time to die.
What I don't know is how to say goodbye.
I'll miss you so much I don't know what to do.
I guess I'll just end this poem with a goodbye and an I love you.

Those we love remain with us
for love itself lives on,
and cherished memories never fade
because a loved one's gone.
Those we love can never be
